Today I did a science experiment and it was called Milk Rainbow. I know you are thinking...milk rainbow??? But it does turn into a milk rainbow. If you watch the video you will see that I am right.
It works because the dish soap sits on the top of the milk and drags the color when it moves to mix the colors, and it is called a milk rainbow and that is how it works.
