I made lava with salt, water, oil, and food coloring. It was a science experiment. It was so cool that I was able to make Lava. My sister made it but I put the salt in. It was so cool to watch the bubbles going up and down. We had to put more salt in to do it again.
How fun! Norah and Owens love doing something similar...rainbow eruptions! Put food coloring in the bottom of a container. Add baking soda (1 Tbsp is enough). Pour in some vinegar...watch it erupt. I hide the color under the baking soda in multiple containers. Then pour the vinegar and watch all the colors erupt out of the containers...rainbow eruptions.
